Starting from the Ladurns mountain station, you hike in a slight incline for about 45 min. passing the water reservoir and arriving to the Edelweiß hut (trail no. 34A, signposted ‘Ladurner Rundweg’). Alternatively, you reach the Edelweiß hut hiking along the mountain road (no. 34). From the Edelweiss hut, continue hiking on the mountain road for about 15 min. to the Wastenegg station (2,023 m), the ideal viewpoint. You can admire all the 3000 metre peaks of the Pflersch Valley, from the Aglsspitze to the Tribulaun. The descent continues again on the mountain road till it joins the Dolomieu trail. Then, follow the signs for the ‘Ladurner Rundweg’ to get back to the cable car mountain station.
Altenative decent to the valley station via Toffring valley:
From the Wastenegg you walk back to the "Teissljöchl" in a few minutes. Then you take the trail no. 35 down to the Toffring valley, until you arrive at the little water reservoir from the power plant of Pflersch. You follow the trail in east direction and after about 400m the trail "Sogeweg" branches off to the left, which leads you down to the valley station of Ladurns.

If you follow the mountain road westward from the power plant you reach St. Anton in Innerpflersch (no. 35A). über Weg 35A bequem erreichbar. To reach the Hotel Feuerstein, you take trail no. 27A, which branches of about halfway along the mountain road.
